Since I Posted That The Post Office Is Rolling Out A Free Recycling Program...
So many other options have been found to be out there, too. So if your post office is not doing the recycle thing yet, here are a few other alternatives:

Staples still accepts used cartridges in exchange for a free ream of 30% recycled copy paper. They have it up on their website. (They don't take Epson,however.) Staples will also give the certificates for $3.00 for each empty cartridge. They're going to start crediting your rewards card and doing away with the paper certificate due to some problems they had with theft of the certicicates. PetSmart distributes postage paid envelopes to recycle empty inkets (except Epsons) and digital cell phones. All proceeds go to PetSmart Charities to help save homeless pets. Envelopes are in displays at the front of the stores. http://www.petsmartcharities.org/
Office Depot and Office Max take cartridges, too. They give you GC's or $3 credit.

Ecophones is another group that does fundraisers when you donate old cell phones, CDs DVDs and ink cartridges. It's a great way to make some money for your Brownie troop, softball team or your child's school.
This is un-verified but Best Buy is said to pay you to recycle your old electronics. I'd call them first on this one.
Some fire depts and libraries also collect old cell phones. Some homeless shelters collect cartridges, too.

White Castle to offer 87-minute burger sale
COLUMBUS, Ohio — In recognition of National Hamburger Month, which is celebrated in May, and the company’s 87th anniversary, White Castle System Inc. will turn back the clocks for 87 minutes of vintage-priced burgers.
On May 27, White Castle will offer the company’s Slyder burgers for 27 cents from 2 p.m. to 3:27 p.m., limit 10 burgers per customer. Selected locations in all White Castle restaurant markets will participate in the promotion.
White Castle opened its first restaurant in Wichita, Kan., in 1921, selling its burgers for 5 cents. The price of a Slyder didn't reach the 27-cent mark until the early 1980s. While prices have always varied from city to city, the average price of a White Castle hamburger today is 53 cents.
